Show Hours:
Check-in Saturday from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Judging begins promptly at 11:00
a.m. Official Show Hours are from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. -
4 p.m. on Sunday.
Show
Hall:
Chattanooga Choo Choo. The show hall is well air-conditioned and wheelchair
accessible. No cats may remain in the show hall overnight. No smoking is
permitted in the show hall.
Transportation:
There is a hotel shuttle from the airport to the Holiday
Inn. There will be transportation from the Holiday Inn to the show hall
each day. Contact Tracy Swan - tjswan@bellsouth.net prior to Oct 2 for
reservations.
Other Hotels in the area:
There are many hotels at the same exit as the show hotel. No prior
arrangements have been made at these hotels for exhibitors. However, a few
are listed here for your convenience: Red Roof Inn 423-899-0143 Knight’s

Bake
Sale:
Saturday 10-2. Bring your homemade goodies to the show for our Bake Sale.
Please individually wrap items that will be sold individually (brownies,
cookies, etc). Contact Ann Strople, astrople@bellsouth.net, for details.
Junior Showmanship:
(TBA) will be judging the junior showmanship ring.
Awards:
All Championship, Premiership, and Kitten entries with their numbers in the
catalog will be scored for CFA National/Regional Awards. Rosettes will be
awarded and permanent flats will be used in accordance with CFA rules.
General:
This is a CFA licensed show and all CFA show rules will be strictly
enforced. For a copy of these rules, send $5.00 to CFA, PO Box 1005,
Manasquan NJ 08736-0805. The club reserves the right to add judges not
named in the show announcement to judge non-championship and non-premiership
classes. Reasonable care will be taken to safeguard the property of
exhibitors. However, the show management and the Chattanooga Choo Choo
management will not be held responsible for any loss or damages.
Cages/Supplies:
Cages are approximately 24x24x24. Novice exhibitors bring a towel or a rug
to cover the floor and enough material to go around the sides and to cover
the top of the cage, along with clips or safety pins to fasten the material
securely to the cage. Litter will be furnished in the show hall. Bring
your own litter box and food.
Miscellaneous:
This is a non-vetted show. All cats should be inoculated by a licensed
veterinarian against feline enteritis, feline rhinotracheitis, calici
viruses and rabies, test for FeLV and be free of fleas, fungus, mites,
internal/external parasites and contagious diseases. The show committee
reserves the right to remove any cat or kitten from the show hall if
suspected of having any of the above ailments until examined by a licensed
veterinarian at the owner/agent's expense. Kittens under 4 months of age
will not be permitted in the show hall. Proof of age may be requested. All
claws of all entries must be clipped prior to benching. Parents are
expected to provide suitable supervision for their children at ALL times.
